A couple years ago I was wandering some back streets in my neighborhood and came across a house with a plaque out front about 1/3 a mile from me. It was the childhood home of Sister Mary Joseph Roger’s. Between that and the Orbis logos littering my bookshelves I feel such affection and gratitude for maryknoll.
Oh, how wonderful! I, too, am besotted with Orbis! I remember when I first discovered them about 5 years ago and immediately wanted their whole catalogue! Thank you so much for your kind words, and merriest Christmas to you!
Late to this, but Merry Christmas, still, Cameron! And thank you for this post. I hadn't remembered that bit from Their Eyes...which I remember loving (maybe 2026 is the year for a reread!). I'm going to ponder that question during this quiet week. Thank you for the prayer and for all. Happy (almost) 2026!
Thank you so much... questions and answers. They run together, they reveal and duck under the covers. Thanks!
So true! I love a good question (and sometimes answer!)
Thank you for your words, and merry Christmas to you and your family!!
Thank you so much, and Merry Christmas to you too!
I always love your reflections.
